Purchasing Used Refrigerants
Because we specialize in providing our customers with low cost, high quality reclaimed refrigerants, it is a central part of our mission to acquire large volumes of quality used refrigerant. Our pledge to our suppliers is:
-
We will work aggressively to provide our suppliers with the best possible service and pricing in the industry.
-
We will handle all the transportation arrangements and requirements. All freight will be paid by us.
-
We will promptly provide an accurate and detailed report of the refrigerant quality and quantity.
-
We will maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity throughout the relationship.
-
We will pay our suppliers quickly, and fully.
-
We will work to help protect our clients from the liability and associated costs of mixing refrigerants.
How The Process Works:
It is best that you contact our office before the recovery job begins; the earlier we get involved, the more service we can bring to the table. We can help you simply by accepting your filled recovery cylinders for processing all the way to providing complete, nationwide onsite recovery thereby eliminating the burden and hassles of recovery entirely.
Global Refrigerants accepts most refrigerants in existence. Upon receipt, the refrigerant is tested, weighed, reclaimed and repackaged. The purchase price is, of course dependent upon the type, quantity and quality of the refrigerant. Transportation and packaging may also have some bearing.
REFRIGERANT PURITY
The single largest concern we face time and again with our suppliers is the concern for the quality of their refrigerant. While a one ton container of R-12 will be worth a considerable amount, the same container mixed with a few pounds of another refrigerant is suddenly a liability (requiring incineration) instead of an asset.
Guarding our clients from mixed refrigerant surprises is a key aspect of our program. By bringing us on early in the job, we can help you test the quality of the refrigerant prior to bidding, thereby allowing you to make informed decisions regarding your bid.
